Verdict

Master Dee has struggled a little over hurdles since completing a double at the end of last year. But he may do better now his attentions are switched to the larger obstacles and he probably has greater scope than ex-Flat performer Mason Hindmarsh, though Karen McLintock's charge has been keeping decent company over timber. ENCHANTED GARDEN (NAP) was returning from a lengthy absence at Aintree and that run was clearly needed. He is rated 145 over hurdles so it will be disappointing if he can't make his mark over fences and his stable is firing on all cylinders at present.
