Verdict
Not a race to get heavily involved in. Marico would have to have a chance based on his second to Field Master at Taunton last time, but that was on fast ground and his form on soft makes him opposable here. Fifteen Reds won a very ordinary three-runner affair at Hexham recently but a 7lb penalty looks to have anchored him now. Arthurs Kingdom does not possess much in the way of ability, with one win from scores of attempts, though he ran well enough for a long way over course and distance last time to give him place claims again, especially as he is dropping down the handicap. Veteran course and distance winner Jonaem looks to be on the downgrade and it is difficult to see him being good enough, and so the tentative TEAMtalk vote goes to Eileen Alanna, who was a long way behind here recently, but has some competitive form at this level, doesn't mind some cut and should be much straighter for that run.
