In depth

A tough race to call but Newsplayer arrives here at the top of his game and is selected over Rainbow Dance, Business Class and the old-timer Jokers Charm, who will not be found wanting for effort if he runs his usual race. In contrast to Business Class, who has been finding life a little tough of late and may be one to monitor for the time being. However, Newsplayer started to come good towards the end of last season and proved himself to act on a variety of going as last term progressed. The predicted firm ground should not be a worry for his connections and Newsplayer can strike an easily blow for the Richard Phillips team, who rarely waste their forays to the northern courses.
