    Verdict

Just five got to post for this terrific conditions event, where Jedburgh, Manipulator and The Violin Player are the three to concentrate on, with the former just getting the nod. John Dunlop's colt is absolutely flying at the moment following victories at Epsom and here at Leicester where he beat some decent animals and the hat-trick could be on the cards. Manipulator hasn't shown his true ability on his last two visits to the racecourse but is better judged on his victories at Hamilton and Wolverhampton in mid-summer. The Willie Jarvis trained The Violin Player on the other hand has just hit winning form, getting the better of Ninah in a decent Chepstow maiden and more improvement should be forthcoming. With I Won't Dance and Pivotal Guest completing this competitive line up it won't be easy for Jedburgh but he just gets the vote.
