Verdict
At first glance this looked a competitive handicap but in fact there appear to be few with chances and Windy Britain is the confident choice here to get the better of Crimson Dancer and Frieda Kahlo. Luca Cumani is noted for improving his older horses throughout the season, and Windy Britain, following a successful spring, has continued on the upgrade, and showed her well being when finishing a close up third behind tight squeeze at Redcar nine days ago and should get back to winning ways. Crimson Dancer¿s two recent handicap victories have been gained in style, and with the stable still in cracking form rates the main danger. Geoff Wragg hasn¿t had the greatest of seasons but Frieda Kahlo has done enough in recent outings to suggest she can run into a place. Captain Hardy and Alafdal are others worthy of a mention, but with a touch of confidence the selection has to be Windy Britain.
