        Verdict

        Notable Guest should be capable of stepping up on his debut second to land this, with Magnetic Pole and Muhaymin expected to chase him home. Michael Stoute's colt couldn't handle the previous winner Tashkil at Sandown last month but will have learned from the experience, and with nothing of that calibre in today's contest, should lose his maiden tag. Stoute also runs Magnetic Pole and this is given as one of the main rivals to the selection He is superbly bred by Machiavellian out of a Lear Fan mare. Another newcomer to note in the betting is Mark Johnston's Radiant Dawn who will certainly know what's required on her debut, but for the main danger it has to be Muhaymin who is starting to realise what is required. The John Dunlop trained colt improved on a moderate debut run to get within four lengths of The Violin Player last time and further improvement is expected. In conclusion, Notable Guest should land the spoils but Muhayim should make a race of it.
