In depth
Verdict
Venetia Williams has her string in fine form and Miss Chinchilla is a confident choice here to beat Shady Grey and Beacon Of Light. This eight-year-old mare only landed a seller at Ludlow last time but she did it in some style drawing well clear of her rivals for a facile success and she should be up to winning in this better class. Beacon of Light has been well beaten in better company recently but did win a seller here in November. Shady Grey is improving with each run and wasn't beaten far by Countess Camilla at Carlisle last month, another bold showing can be expected. of the rest Nod Ya Head showed her first signs of ability when third in a weak handicap at Musselburgh last time and can take a hand in the finish, however it is difficult to get away from the chances of Miss Chinchilla and she can win with the minimum of fuss.
