Verdict
The booking of Richard Johnson for Allstar Leader is enough to swing the vote in the favour of the Irish-raider and the partnership are taken to get the better of the exposed Rising Generation and Poachers Run - although a move for Lord Of The Land could be interesting. However, it is interesting that the connections of Allstar Leader have seen fit to make the journey over for this modest prize, and the fact that they have secured the services of the top jockey available is too big a hint to ignore. Johnson was in the saddle when the gelding was just run out of things in a Novices' Hurdle at Perth at the start of this month and the partnership look to have been found the ideal opportunity to gain some compensation here. Tiger Talk and Nosam appear to have each way claims at best.
