Verdict
An ordinary event and this looks another good opportunity for Lord Capitaine. Howard Johnson's charge has tumbled in the weights and took full advantage here last time over a furlong less when pulling 11 lengths clear of Little Brown Bear and should be able to confirm the form despite a 7lb penalty. The latter is a consistent type and will be sharper for the outing but is still 12lb higher than his previous win and may have to settle for minor honours once again. Of the remainder, Rigaddon has twice disappointed since his Huntingdon success in December while top weight Meander has been well below the form of last season's efforts and is best watched at present.
