In depth
Verdict
Dalida has an obvious chance and should follow up, with Always Flying, Valuable and Two Steps To Go set to battle it out for the places. Dalida won comfortably in similar company at Perth last time, with Tony McCoy doing the steering, and there is no reason why she should not repeat the feat here with conditions in her favour. She is destined never to hit the heights, but as long as she is kept at this level a few more successes are on the cards. Always Flying tried to steal a march on his rivals at Uttoxeter but ran out of steam and finished third. That event was not even as strong as this so he will struggle to get the better of the selection as will Valuable, although the latter should almost certainly turn the tables on Two Steps To Go on these terms after finishing second to that rival at Sedgefield in July. All in all this looks good for Dalida.
