Verdict
GOLDEN FEATHER was good value for his win over course and distance last week and the Evan Williams-trained gelding is taken to win again, getting the vote ahead of Whatcanyasay and Schinken Otto. The last mentioned should appreciate the return to the winter game having been well beaten in recent starts on the flat. Glimmer of Light has failed to complete in his last two starts so looks best watched, while Fred Bojangals has struggled off higher marks since winning here in May. Howard Johnson's Prince Car has shown signs of ability from limited opportunities but needs to improve on all known form to trouble the judge. Whatcanyasay has been showing improved form in recent starts and is only 1lb higher than when scoring here in March but lack of a run since April is of some concern and a safer option looks to be Golden Feather, who gets the vote to win a third consecutive race.
