Verdict
Mighty Whitey has run twice here, landing a bumper narrowly in May before an easy victory in an eventful race over timber last month when his most dangerous rival was carried out. Noel Kelly's charge didn't look the most straightforward of rides that day but looks to have bags of ability and can only progress. Carrigmartin beat a decent yardstick in Turner Brown off levels at Ballinrobe but a line through the runner-up gives him plenty to find with Golden Grimshaw, who had also beaten him but was conceding 8lbs. MOON DICE was a very impressive winner on his return from a long absence at Limerick last month. Paul Flynn's charge was having only his third start over timber that day but was always travelling easily and looked good enough to take this better race in his stride.
