Verdict

RESIDENCE AND SPA is our choice as the most likely winner of this contest although Fabiello and Millies Folly will be threats if coming on from their latest runs out, whilst Geblah and Generous Genella make their debuts. The in-form Paul Hanagan takes the ride on our selection and Tim Easterby's option in this race has every chance of picking up the win. He will benefit for his last two runs and although his trainer only has a 4% strike-rate with juveniles at the course over the past five seasons, the pick ran a respectable third in a faster than average race at Redcar last time out and with an improved performance can take this race. Fabiello has shown some promise to finish close to the winners in his last two races. He was headed inside the final furlong last time out at Doncaster on his first start on the turf and considering he has come on a lot since a poor debut on the all-weather at Wolverhampton, this progressive colt could be the main danger to our pick. Millies Folly has improved since a poor debut when last at Pontefract in June but was still over seven lengths behind the victor at Newcastle on her latest start. We side with Residence And Spa to beat this relatively unexposed field.
