Verdict
Paul Hanagan takes back the ride on Sir Louis who could pose a danger to our pick, OFFSPRING, whilst Mottley Crewe makes a handicap debut and Newbury Street has claims if rediscovering the best of his ability. Offspring kept on well to win at Ripon over a similar trip last time out. She has improved markedly in every start so far and if progressing since her last run can defy running off top weight here. Sir Louis has the assistance of championship leader Paul Hanagan. He has a 21% strike-rate for Richard Fahey this season and this could be another opportunity to add to that tally. The main concern may be that he has yet to recreate the form that saw him win on soft ground at Redcar earlier this year. Mottley Crewe may be interesting now switched to handicap company after showing bits and pieces in his three Maiden starts to date. Newbury Street showed nothing in a claimer last time out but could be dangerous if finding his best form that has seen him win twice before. However, we go for Offspring to emerge victorious from this contest.
