Verdict
KING ZEAL won well over this trip here last month and can follow up on that success to see off the likes of Laverre who has been running over slightly further lately and Highland Love who won two races ago. The selection beat Ghufa by just over two lengths at the track when last seen and with a similar run could see off the competition. With the exception of his penultimate start he has been in good form on the turf this year and we side with Barry Leavy's option here. Highland Love has been in good form over this distance at Beverley lately but was disappointing when last seen at this course and that remains a concern. Laverre was twelve lengths behind the victor at Ripon over a mile and a half in her last outing and will need to improve to challenge today whilst the other three-year-old in the field, Rare Malt, is looking for some improvement from the first application of a visor. In the final race on the card King Zeal can hold on to his crown.
