Verdict

After scoring on fast ground at Clonmel in May, Stephen Hero disappointed in much softer conditions at Leopardstown. Juara gained a surprise victory at Roscommon where the fast ground appeared to be in her favour but MELANIPPE, who finished a close third, is better suited by some give and can take her revenge and get back to winning ways. Las Encinas hasn't progressed from a couple of fair early season efforts but John Murphy has won this a couple of times in recent years and Skimming Stone looks best of tonight's pair of entries.
