Verdict

Castle Guest hasn't won since 2016 and has been failing to take advantage of a rapidly decreasing handicap mark. He's still running well enough to get into contention in a low-grade handicap but Lady Rosebud, five times a winner on the all-weather, has yet to reach a place in eleven starts on Turf and is better over a mile. MAUNGANUI is still a maiden but has run well in better handicaps than this the last twice and can finally get off the mark. Phebes Dream gained her only victory to date over 1m4f and that looks her trip while Attack At Dawn has failed to fire despite dropping 10lb since starting out in handicaps.
