A wide open handicap with plenty of in form horses in the field. Mr Gisby won well before being disqualified last time out, however he has been raised in the weights for that win but he won in the style of an improving horse and he may still be ahead of the handicapper. Beady has won his last two races on this course over a shorter trip. If the gelding by Eagle Eyed stays the trip he will be a danger to all, however he has never won off a mark this high. Kristal Forest was a good second last time out behind Parachute after a long absence, he is sure to strip fitter today and he has definite place claims. Twilight Haze was third behind young Collier last time out at Wolverhampton, however that form has been let down of late and he also has no form on this surface. Interstice was a good second behind Appleacre last time out and a reproduction of that form would see him go close, however he is unproven at this trip. High Policy is also another to consider as he goes particularly well over this course and distance but he ran as if in the handicappers grip when well beaten last time out. Of the remainder King Priam could also go well but he is not the most reliable of performers.
