Verdict
Favouring can land the finale at the expense of La Musique, Pawn In Life and Extemporise. Favouring has been pretty consistent of late and gave another good account of himself when second to the Barney Curley good thing Bold Phoenix over a mile here three weeks ago. The trip is the key though, as he seems better over seven furlongs, a fact borne out by his success here the time before last. Back over the trip, he should make a bold bid to get back to winning ways, and should at the very least have the call over Extemporise who was back in fourth last time. La Musique made all to win a Banded race over track-and-trip last time but has a bit more to do, while Pawn In Life ran well to finish third from out of the handicap here last week. They appear to be the main contenders, with Favouring the best of them.
