        Verdict

        Sylviacliffs had slipped a few pounds down the weights in a couple of starts in handicaps and took advantage to win over track and trip last month. But she beat ARRIBA DE TODA by only head and Brian Ellison’s charge may well reverse running today having shown a big improvement in first-time blinkers on that occasion. Dolly Dupree and Champagne Mondays finished further behind in the selection’s race and the latter placed over 6f here on Thursday. Kodi Dream, who has a 6lb penalty for his victory at Newcastle on Friday, would be an obvious threat if taking to the Fibresand on only his third start for Roger Fell.
