Verdict

South Seas won three times on the Flat and was rated 100 when last seen. He debuts over hurdles on his first start for Dan Skelton’s yard and may well figure but FIRST LORD DE CUET looks a safer proposition. The bumper winner will have benefited from last month’s hurdling debut fourth over today’s trip at Wincanton and this looks an easier task for David Pipe’s charge. Hunting Percival made a winning start in a bumper at Wincanton in October and Tom Lacey wastes no time in sending him over hurdles while points winner One Touch landed a bumper at Chepstow back in April and also debuts over obstacles. Keep Rolling went clear of the rest at Lingfield at one point on his hurdling bow but faded badly in the heavy ground and drops down in distance for this.
