In depth

Verdict

Queen Excalibur has improved of late and is the selection over Moyne Pleasure and The Last Mohican. Queen Excalibur is still a maiden at the age of five but attracted some money on her last start at Warwick in which she was third to Barton Sands. That was in selling company so she is certainly not one to rely one, but then neither are the rest. Moyne Pleasure was last successful two years ago but has plummeted down the ratings so is now entitled to line up in this less than exalted company. A glimmer of hope came when he finished second here the time before last and he can figure along with The Last Mohican, another moderate performer who has at least been place once or twice. In a dire contest, Queen Excalibur gets the vote
