In depth

Verdict

MONBEG LEGEND beat smart hurdler/chaser Barney Dwan in a point at Curraghmore in 2015 and changed hands for £120,000 shortly after. Connections have had to be patient but fitness isn’t normally an issue for one from his yard and he can make a winning start under Rules. Rollo's Reflection is another ex-pointer likely to be winning soon over timber and Global Bonus has been getting closer. Alpha Indi is another who has been knocking on the door and he can’t be ignored.
