In depth
Verdict
This really is wide open, and as there isn't enough space to name all the suspects, we've narrowed it down to Eurolink Artemis, Perfidious, and Giunchiglio, with the first named getting the vote due to his light weight. Trained by Julian Poulton, Eurolink Artemis overcame a poor draw at Pontefract last time to go down by only a neck to the more fancied Night Market. The former Mark Johnston inmate has slipped to a favourable mark these days and if that was no fluke last time, she should be bang in at the finish. Giunchiglio's trainer Peter Makin had a nice priced winner at Chester on Tuesday so any moves for this one should be noted, while Perfidious looks set to run another consistent race, and will be fancied to retrieve losses after failing to defy a penalty at Folkestone. He is as game as they come and is another not to leave out of calculations.
