Verdict
The most valuable race on the card has understandably attracted a competitive field and should provide a wide-open betting heat but Greenwood is handed a tentative vote. The James Eustace-trained gelding is not the easiest to predict but has held his form well of late for today's rider with placed efforts in better grade on his last two starts over course and distance. The son of Emarati races off the same mark and there is no reason why he shouldn't go well from his middle draw. Justalord has been in tremendous heart of late with recent wins at Wolverhampton and Lingfield but now appears plenty high enough in the weights judged on his latest effort while Paddywack was below his best last time and is now 3lb higher so is readily opposed. Valazar will find this tougher having scored in selling company last month and, along with both Gone'N'Dunnett and Tayif, may find the return to the minimum trip on the sharp side.
