Verdict

Alan King does well with his runners on the Flat so William Hunter, who has shown potential in bumpers, should be respected. Dusky Dawn is a half-sister to a Fibresand winner and bred to be speedy while Deansgate showed some potential on Turf and looks to have a race in him. William Haggas tries Highwayman in blinkers after the front-runner could only stay on at one pace over 7f here last month when he hung to the right under an apprentice. Shane Kelly is back on board and he looks the main threat to MELENDEZ. Jamie Osborne's charge ran very well when runner-up over the track and trip last month and again when second to the odds-on White Shaheen over 7f last week so this looks a good opportunity. G'day Aussie, from a yard in form, looks best of the remainder on his return from a break.
