In depth
Verdict
Onchan finally opened his account when scoring over fences at Market Rasen. He’s upped in trip and is 7lb higher for this but Animal can race off the same mark as when successful at Fakenham earlier if a conditional’s allowance is taken into account. DON’T ASK (NAP) can also race off the same mark as when winning over a shorter trip here last May and a recent second over course and distance suggests Alex Hales’ charge is primed to get his head back in front. The veteran Looks Like Power has won just once since 2018 and last month’s Taunton winner Trixster is preferred.
