Verdict

A wide open contest rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Brendan¿s Surprise, ,Noorain and Splodger Mac and the narrow vote is given to the last named. The selection was a fair second last time out behind Extra Cover and under similar conditions here he looks a value bet in an open affair. Brendan¿s Surprise rates the main danger on his latest second but he continues to rise in the weights without winning and he looks opposable for that reason Noorain won well last time out when beating Star Fern but that form has since been let down and at likely odds he looks worth opposing .House Of Kaiser ran well last time out off this mark to be third and if she could reproduce that effort here she would not be far away, however consistency is not her strong point. Of the remainder First Maite is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with and in a trappy finale for the winner we return to Splodger Mac.
