        Verdict

        Pregnant Pause returned to form last time and can land this weak affair from Ba Clubman and Tanning. The selection is reported in fine fettle by the stable who are really firing in the winners at the moment. He finished an excellent third behind Soviet Threat at Lingfield last time, going down by just two lengths, if he can repeat that effort on this different surface he will be hard to beat. Ba Clubman chased home Largs over the six furlong trip here last time. He has no problems with this furlong and looks booked for some place money. Tanning hails from a top yard and has put in some promising displays at Lingfield recently, she should go close in this company on her Southwell debut. Beaver Diva has shown bits and pieces of form in the past to warrant a mention, but in a very weak event Pregnant Pause is taken to oblige
