        Verdict

        A poor race here but something has to win and the principals look to be Vlasta Whiner, Star Lad and he's A Rocket and the tentative vote is given to the last named. The selection is well in on his best form of last season and with his yard beginning to hit top form he could go well at a price. Vlasta Whiner rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating Pagan Storm in a similar race and he remains on a fair mark so he will not be far away. Star Lad would have a chance on his best form but he was very disappointing last time out for no apparent reason so he can not be put forward with any confidence here. Aboustar is another that could go well despite top weight if he is fit after a 162 day absence. Of the remainder Mersey Mirage is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to He's A Rocket.
