Verdict
Blakeset, Queen of Night and Silver Mascot are three against the field in a tough claimer and the nomination goes to Blakeset. The selection has been running in a much better class of race of late and a reproduction of his latest fifth behind Gilded Cove would make him hard to beat; the booking of Seb Saunders is also a plus. Queen Of Night rates the main danger as she is one of the least exposed in the field and was a fair seventh behind Hurricane Coast last time and this looks easier. Silver Mascot is another worthy of respect but his best form is over a longer trip and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Scary Night is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Blakeset.
