Verdict
This is obviously the time of year for Waterpark and the six-year-old is given the nod over Yenaled, Xaloc Bay and Kenny The Truth, who arrive here in good form and merit plenty of respect. As does Saros, who will be a very popular choice as he bids for the hat-trick of straight wins today. However, he faces much stiffer opposition this time and needs to post a much improved performance to go in again today. Therefore, the nomination goes to Waterpark, who is very lightly raced from recent times and arrives here after winning a much better race than this at Redcar last time. The daughter of Namaqualand should have no problems with the 6lb penalty against this caliber of opposition and is taken to follow up whilst her confidence is on a high. Yenaled also merits plenty of respect and is another to arrive here on the back of a win last time out (for which he is unpenalised as that came in an apprentice's contest.) The Kevin Ryan-trained gelding also has a little more to prove in this grade and may find a well handicapped rival like Waterpark has his measure near the finish.
