Verdict
This is not as competitive as the numbers would suggest, and although Countrywide Flyer and Red Lancer will have their supporters, we will take a chance on Lady Predominant. The selection is from the in-form Mick Channon yard and could go well at a big price. She will aprreciate this step up in trip and with claimer Sam Hitchcott in the plate she gets the tentative vote. Countrywide Flyer is the main danger and is sure to have his supporters after a good run behind Kings Empire on this track last time. This gelding hails from a shrewd yard and is entitled to plenty of respect. Red Lancer was a good winner at Wolverhampton and will appreciate the step up in trip here so is another that will not be too far away. Red Lancer and Countrywide Flyer are sure to take a hand in the finish, but we are a happy to take a chance on Lady Predominant.
