Verdict

GHOST RIDER debuted over 6f here last week and caught the eye making up late ground to finish second. Mark Johnston’s colt will appreciate this extra distance on that evidence and can confirm running with third-placed Driftwood. The latter is preferred to new stablemate Waltzing but the remainder with experience make no appeal while 62,000gns purchase Mellys Flyer and Mutakaamil, a half-brother to a winner on the Fibresand, are both preferred to Johnny Boom of the newcomers.
