Verdict

A couple of these have won lower grade races over track and trip recently with Amadeus Grey preferred to Headland. Thrave’s earlier win here came over 6f in a claimer while My Boy Lewis placed at Newcastle on a couple of occasions last month and Defence Treaty returned a beaten favourite at the same track last time. PARALLEL WORLD faded badly in the closing stages here on his first outing after wind surgery but ran well for a long way and Karl Burke’s charge gets another chance in this having gone close off a similar mark in the past.
