      Verdict

      MAYKIR has now won four of only six outings on the Fibresand and bids for a course and distance hat-trick after last week’s cosy success. He can defy a 5lb penalty. Grimsthorpe Castle landed a double here back in November beating both False Id and Going Native in the process but has looked high enough in the weights subsequently while Hammer Gun has previous here though looks on the downgrade nowadays. Newcastle runner-up Dramatista and Flight Command debut on the surface with the former making most appeal.
