Verdict
This appears to be a very poor maiden and it is a chance for Imtalkinggibberish to finally win a race, Forest Dane and Penel should also figure in the finish. The John Jenkins trained gelding disappointed a little over seven furlongs at Wolverhampton last time. The time before he ran well over a slightly shorter trip there, going down by just a length to Future Deal. It is not the best form in the world but it should be good enough to land this. Penel's run at Wolverhampton last time was too bad to be true, and if reproducing his earlier turf form he would be very difficult to beat. Meanwhile Forest Dane put in some very decent displays last year on the turf, if fit after such a long lay off he could be capable of taking a hand in the finish here. Amanda's Lad may prove best of the remainder, but Imtalkinggibberish has the best overall form and is given the nod.
