Verdict
Bond Millennium can get recent losses back at the expense of Double Dagger Lady, Miss Porcia and Sorbiesharry. Bond Millennium's last win came at Carlisle in June 2003 off what was a favourable Turf mark, but he has struggled since. However, Bryan Smart's six-year-old turned in a commendable effort on a return to this track eight days ago, when coming from off the pace to finish second to Red Contact. Nothing was coming from behind on that day's card so that made his performance look even better, and if Robert Winston gets him out quicker today, he should make a bold bid to get the losses back. He is certainly well handicapped on the all-weather now, as he lines up on a mark of 60, having popped in on 73 when gaining his last victory on the fibresand three years ago. Double Dagger Lady is bred to appreciate the surface and is only lightly raced so can improve in time, while Miss Porcia went out like a light when trying to make all over a mile at Salisbury last time. Sorbiesharry is fully exposed and drops back in trip, so all in all, Bond Millennium looks the percentage call.
