Verdict

Notation finished behind third-placed Madeeh at Wolverhampton last time but had won over course and distance earlier when beating HERMOCRATES a neck. The latter re-opposes on more favourable terms today and John Mackie’s charge is taken to come out best on this occasion having found one too good again here subsequently. Dusk is proving hard to win with and returned a beaten favourite once again at Wolverhampton while Loch Ness Monster’s earlier course success came over 1m6f but he ran a shocker back here last time.
