Verdict

A large field goes to post for this novices hurdle, but plenty of dead wood and it looks a straight forward task for Detonateur. The gelding from the bang in form Ian Williams yard was a good second behind Home James last time out, and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. All Bleevable looks the one for the forecaste after his latest third under similar conditions behind Time To Shine. Of the remainder Atticus Finch is a winner over fences and he could go well at a fair price if he brings that ability back to hurdles. The remainder need to improve on all known form to take a hand in the finish.
