The betting suggested STONE SOLDIER (NAP) would go close on his first outing for Archie Watson and debut on the Fibresand. He duly returned an easy winner over 7f in first-time headgear and can shrug off a penalty. Samphire Coast does most of his winning at Chelmsford though placed over track and trip recently ahead of Xcelente whereas Jump The Gun was still beaten a long way when third here a week ago. Shining Aitch posted a better effort at Wolverhampton last time and is fitted with blinkers today.
