Rockesbury was winning at Chelmsford for the third time this year when successful over today’s trip. The Retriever finally got his head in front when beating Three Card Trick over course and distance last month and subsequently finished just ahead of Mister Freeze back here while Al Batal ended last year with a victory over track and trip and has switched yards since. But HEART OF A HUNTER is the least exposed having run his best race so far at Wolverhampton on only his second start handicapping and a chance is taken Tony Carroll’s charge acts on the surface.
