Plenty of course and distance winners here including Somchine, who has been racing over longer trips since his victory here in March of last year. Midnight Chorister's form is erratic though he's only 1lb higher than his victory here in March but THE YANK is 20lb higher than his success over track and trip in August. However, the latter has since won at Plumpton and had a pipe-opener on the Flat last month in preparation for another summer's jumping so can gain his third victory over fences on just his fifth start. The prolific point-to-point winner Play The Ace makes his handicap debut on a fair mark and can get involved.
