In depth

Verdict

Ceto looks the best of those with racecourse experience and she is very high on our list in this fillies' maiden but with Mark Johnston's yard in cracking form will take his debutante FLORIDITA to land this with the exposed Tomintoul Star looking best of the rest. This race shouldn't take much winning and the selection certainly has the breeding to be too good for her opponents here. As well as classic winners on the continent her family tree includes Rosa De Mi Corazon who was unbeaten in 3 starts at this track. In addition the form trainer has a decent track record and seems to do well with his older debutantes. Ceto has gone close a couple of times in four starts and sets the standard on the ratings but it's fair to say she's nothing special while connections of Tomintoul Star reach of the cheek pieces for the first time to try and get her to finally score. Smakeroo could also go well first time out but Mark Johnston won this last year with a decent sort in Eastern Aria and we think Floridita can repeat the feat.
