In depth

Verdict

High Tech Made has obvious form claims here and should go well under Tony McCoy, but we will take a chance on Montecorvino, with the debutantes Rathcannon Man and Flintoff both worth a mention. The selection was bought out of Mario Hofer's German yard after finishing an excellent second to Bayside at Catterick on his debut. He was backed down to second favourite in that contest and may be capable of recouping the losses today. High Tech Made landed quite a valuable Leopardstown bumper last season and is certain to be in the shake up despite his winners penalty. Rathcannon Man hails from the in form Alan King yard and should be noted for any market moves. The same applies to the very well bred Flintoff who is trained by Richard Guest. None of the others jump out from the page and so the winner should come from the four mentioned and we will give the vote to Montecorvino
