In depth
Verdict
Five-year-old SPARROW HILLS makes the selection here ahead of Dais Return and Flaco. Selection Sparrow Hills is the only horse running here with experience of the course and was victorious here back in October. The gelding was up in trip last time and the longer distance helped his cause and he ran a sound enough race in defeat. He prefers a sound surface and with the going currently good here he should do well. Dais Return has been running fairly consistently for the Bowen yard but is yet to record a win. The Gelding is improving however and his yard is in a decent run of form so should his recent improvement continue then he should figure here. Flaco is a full brother to talented chaser Character Building. The gelding stands out from the rest but is best watched as his inexperience should show. In a race of very little quality Sparrow hills makes the selection.
