NonRunner

In depth

Verdict

A couple of these stand out from the rest. Danboru was still in contention, though tiring, at Bangor when falling at the last. But he’s been raised 13lb this year despite failing to win and LITTLE WINDMILL is preferred. The latter put a string of poor efforts behind him when runner-up at Plumpton last time and was beaten less than a length off today’s mark over course and distance back in October. The remainder are struggling at present including the selection’s stablemate Silent Steps though Cruising Bye won on fast going last summer and Mont Royale slides further down the weights.
