In depth

Verdict

FORT MYERS is by War Front out of the Irish 1000 Guineas winner Marvellous. He'll be expected to make a successful debut though Never Before, a half-brother to seven winners, cost 130,000gns and has a speedy pedigree. Gavin Cromwell has two entries, both by Morpheus, with Almost A Dream possibly the best at this stage while Kieran Cotter's St George's Head is a half-brother to three winning sprinters. Soaring Monarch's dam has produced 7f winners with her first two offspring.
