In depth

Verdict

Weekend Offender, a smart handicapper with Kevin Ryan, carries a rating of 94 from his days in the UK but has been running poorly over hurdles and it's unlikely he'll be up to that mark back on the Flat. Eastern Racer won three times last summer for Brian Ellison ending with a rating of 88 but he's shown little for new connections. KASBAH looks the safest option as though he has plenty to find with those rivals he enters the fray in winning form having landed the odds in similar company last week. Nothing To Lose won a Limerick handicap on heavy going in October and ran reasonably well on his comeback at Leopardstown though he's been well beaten in all three starts on this track.
