    Verdict

Il Forno stayed on well under Steve Drowne when landing his maiden at Lingfield last month and has to be respected in this claimer for David Nicholls on his Fibresand debut but a better bet looks to be TAMARIND HILL, who gets the vote ahead of Anjomarba. The last mentioned has been in good form of late having won a Wolverhampton claimer and finishing a close up third in a similar contest at Lingfield in two previous starts this month. She got the better of the selection when the pair clashed in another claimer here at the beginning of last month but Tamarind Hill has a small pull in the weights with Anjomarba on their running that afternoon and can reverse the form. Ben Haslam's Alphacino was well beaten on his Fibresand debut last month, while Jeremy Gask's Thaliwarru remains a maiden after just five starts and looks best watched. The David Nicholls-trained Set Back is also a maiden but has only had three starts so far and a better bet looks to be Alan McCabe's Tamarind Hill, who can bounce back to winning ways and reverse earlier running with Anjomarba.
